Institute

The Research Development Office of the University of Turin, in collaboration with the Fondazione Fitzcarraldo, is working to connect researchers in the social sciences and humanities at the University of Turin with relevant colleagues from selected international research centres through the newly launched LUMEN LAB project.

The Institute for Theatre, Film, Radio and Television of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts and the UNESCO Chair of the University of Arts in Belgrade were invited to join this researcher mobility programme thanks to the networking efforts and mediation of Professor Emerita Dr Milena Dragićević Šešić.

At the online event hosted by the University of Turin on 7 July 2026, FDA and the UNESCO Chair were presented by Dr Vlatko Ilić, Director of the FDA Institute, and Dr Tatjana Nikolić, Research Associate at the Institute and Lecturer at the UNESCO Chair of the University of Arts.

The FDA Institute was invited as one of five selected European research centres. The other participating institutions were:

·         Antwerp Research Institute for the Arts - ARIA, University of Antwerp, Belgium

·         Centre for Research in Arts and Creative Exchange - CRACE, University of Roehampton, London, United Kingdom

·         Circus of Knowledge, Johannes Kepler University Linz, Austria

·         Lancaster University, United Kingdom

We look forward to further developing our collaboration with the University of Turin and the other institutions participating in the project, as well as to the possibility of hosting researchers from these centres at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts and the University of Arts in Belgrade in the future.
