She graduated in 2005 and obtained her magister degree in 2010 from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade. In 2018, Ksenija obtained her Ph.D. from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts of the University of Arts in Belgrade in the field of management in the culture and arts.
During her undergraduate and magister studies, and afterwards, she dealt with applied arts in the field of fashion and stage design, while in 2011, she redirected her professional interests towards scientific and research work in the field of culture. Ksenija is one of the founders of designers’ association ‘BFW Dizajn Kolektiv’ where she is involved in organizing educational programs, planning and implementing joint projects of the Association members and coordinating the Fashion Incubator program focused on promotion and development of young talents.
As a researcher, she attended and exhibited her work in different scientific and professional gatherings in the field of culture, cultural politics and management in culture, theater management, politics of memory, sustainable development, and cultural and creative industries. In her scientific and research work, she is particularly devoted to the theater management and theater policy, performance arts, and creative industries. From 2012 to 2016, she was a member of the University of Arts in Belgrade team within the international project TEMPUS– ScenTec, and as a part of the FDA team, she is currently engaged in the COST action New Exploratory Phase in Research on East European Cultures of Dissent - NEP4DISSENT.
