FDA joins the ZDW Exhibition Design Lab project

This project will make an opportunity for young cultural professionals to gain new competences important for their employment and entrepreneurship. It will bring together 25 participants from Serbia (Faculty of Dramatic Arts), Czechia (Tomas Bata University in Zlin), Slovakia (Imaginárium), Hungary (KÉK, Hungarian Contemporary Architecture Centre) and Poland (Jan Matejki Academy of Fine Arts Krakow) for a workshop on exhibition design. During the workshop the participants will learn from the experts how to design an exhibition and will apply this newly gained knowhow on the exhibition of Zlín Design Week (ZDW) in 2021. Besides the exhibition, the participants will have a unique chance to approach the visitors of ZDW through sessions which they will prepare. These sessions will offer an insight into the culture of the V4 region and Serbia through diverse art forms. The aims of the projects are: (1) professionalization of young designers/artists within the field of exhibition design, art direction and communication; (2) interdisciplinary connection and cooperation of participants and their interaction with other professionals (3) promotion of culture of V4 & Serbia with focus on audience experience.

Faculty of Dramatic Arts will participate as a project partner from Serbia, which will enable mobility and strengthen the capacity of young people, undergraduate students of the department for Management and production in theatre, radio and culture.
