Biografija

Nevena Daković (dr) je rođena u Beogradu, gde je završila osnovnu školu i  Treću beogradsku gimnaziju. Diplomirala je na grupi za Opštu književnost i teoriju književnosti na Filološkom fakultetu (1988, Beograd, BU), i uporedo na Fakultetu dramskih umetnosti (1985, Beograd, UU).  Godine 1988. magistrirala na Filološkom fakultetu sa tezom Problem recepcije filma: estetički i sociološki aspekt. 1992. godine doktorirala na FDU (Beograd) sa tezom Holivudska melodrama: 1940-1960 (formula žanra).

 

Još tokom studija počinje da radi na FDU na Katedri za Teoriju i Istoriju, a od 2005. godine je redovni profesor Teorije filma.  

 

Tokom studija i daljeg naučnog usavršavanja bila je stipendista  jugoslovenske i francuske  vlade (1990),  British Academy of Arts (2001), Univerziteta u Notingemu (2002), NEHUS Center for Advanced Studies (2003), Norway Research Councila (2004).   

 

Rukovodilac je  nacionalnih projekata Ministarstva prosvete, nauke i tehnološkog razvoja (OI 178012); TEMPUS projekta (18086-2003). Članica je naučno-istraživačkih timova međunarodnih projekata (Columbia, University of London Institute in Paris, British Academy of Arts European Screen Identities) kao  članica rukovodećeg tima  SOST projekata (IS 1307, CA 18126)

 

Dr Nevena Daković predaje na svetskim univerzititema (Oksford, Notingem, Vorik, UCL, Yale, Ljubljani, Beču, Ankara, Istambul, Ohajo, Riga...)

 

Član je Evropske Akademije/Academia Europeae.

Autorka je i urednica preko deset knjiga, a preko 120 tekstova objavila je u  međunarodnim i domaćim časopisima i periodici (Afterimage, Cahiers du Cinema, Kinokulutra, Cineast…). Radove izlaže   na  naučnim skupovima od kojih su najznačajniji AASN (Columbia, NewYork),  LSE, Yale, Sorbonne IV, Jordan, Graz itd.

 

Govori engleski, francuski i italijanski jezik. Sa porodicom, sinom i suprugom, živi u Beogradu.
