Veronika Liebl is currently Director of European Cooperation at Ars Electronica and Managing Director of its department Festival/Prix/Exhibitions. She studied economic and business science at Johannes Kepler University in Linz (graduated in 2010) with study visits at Harvard University (US) and Université de Fribourg (CH) and has an interdisciplinary background in non-profit and innovation management. Since 2011 she is in charge of cultural management and European project development at Ars Electronica Linz and serves as a member for the Linz’ city culture council, Linz UNESCO City of Media Arts’ executive board and the Content Innovation Council of the Frankfurt Book Fair’s program ARTS+.  Since more than 10 years, she is engaged in programming and producing collaborative programs with partners from arts, science and industry. She leads Ars Electronica’s European collaboration projects in the field of culture, research & education and developed, launched as well as executed in this position – together with her team – numerous EU projects such as the STARTS Prize or the European ARTificial Intelligence Lab.

Dobrivoje Lale Eric is leading the Department of International Cooperation at Serbia’s Center for the Promotion of Science (CPN). The Center was founded in 2010 with the goal to align science and society, and establish active and functional relations between local and international actors and stakeholders. He is managing two EU funded projects at the national level – European ARTificial Intelligence Lab / AI Lab (Creative Europe) and RRING (Horizon 2020), aimed at increasing AI literacy and its understanding by general audience, and emphasising a social relevance of the research and innovation process respectively. He is also coordinating regional activities in six SEE countries within the H2020 TeRRIFICA project, which is empowering citizens to actively take part in climate adaptation and mitigation actions. He was working as well on many projects and initiatives dealing with research policies, STE(A)M education and art & science practices, while recently his main focus is on climate issues and artificial intelligence. He currently serves as a member of the Future Studies Programme Committee at the Belgrade Open School, as well as a member of the Programme Committee at the ECSITE, the largest European network of science centres and museums. Previously, he was a member of the Curators’ Council at the Kunsthalle Kosice, Slovakia, and a member of the Steering Committee of the 2018 edition of the conference New technologies in education, organised by the British Council Serbia. In the period 2013-19, he was elected president of the DoCoMoMo Serbia, a national chapter of the international committee for the documentation and conservation of modern movement in architecture. An Art Historian by formal education, he used to work at the Museum of Science and Technology and the Mod’Art High School, both in Belgrade, and has diverse experience in architecture research, publishing, translation and advertising.
