“Tomorrow’s Media – Quo Vadimus?” is a collection of essays that endeavour to shed light on where we have come from, and where we are going in the media. This book is intended for those working in, and those studying, the media, across the range of disciplines that are needed to regulate and build the media industry and create media content. A range of media specialists have written the chapters so that they can be understood by non-specialists. This book brings together an impressive group of media and broadcasting experts which make it, not only a work of the highest academic quality, but the unique collection of the interdisciplinary research. From the history of broadcasting and the digital television, to the discussion of the future of audio and the use of the electronically created scene content, this book is existing, as both television and radio themselves are, at an intersection between the technology and the arts. The collection has been brought together by friends of the late Aleksandar Louis Todorovic, in memory of his life as an educationalist and engineer. Aleksandar was an award-winning author, Chair of the Technical Committee of the European Broadcasting Union, and Dean of the International Academy of Broadcasting in Switzerland.
